Michael Kopech is MLB's top pitching prospect in the last 10 years. Let's put it this way - the dude crow-hopped a throw 110mph! His flame throwing aside, Michael Kopech aka the smoke show, has some nasty stuff. He features a 4 pitch arsenal with an attitude to go with it.
Unfortunately, for #34 Kopech, 2 of his first 3 starts have ended in a rain delay. With the exception of last Sunday's stellar performance against the Tigers, he only has 1 outing past the 3rd inning. Be patient Chicago White Sox fans, Michael Kopech is Chicago's best south side pitching phenom since Jason Bere (we aren't saying Chris Sale because Chris Sale came up thru the bullpen). Kopech should get another 4-5 starts this year, so there'll be plenty of his fastballs to see this year. He got out of another jam tonight against the team that traded him, the Boston Red Sox. Kopech. He good. Real good.
